The Westborough Players’ Club is excited to announce auditions for “Over the River and Through the Woods” by Joe DiPietro. This funny, yet charming and poignant, story involves Nick, a young man with four very Italian, and very old-word, grandparents. Nick is struggling with a decision to take a promotion at work and move across the country. But, with his parents retired to Florida and his sister in California he is the only family his grandparents have left in New Jersey. Can he live with the decision to leave? More importantly, can he successfully evade all the tricks his grandparents use to get him to stay?
Auditions will be held on April 10 & 11 at 7:00 PM at the Harvey Building (20 Phillips St., Westborough, MA). Actors are asked to arrive between 7:00 and 7:45 PM. Audition material will be provided and no preparation is necessary. Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday April 18, and will be Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings through June (schedule may vary depending on cast availability).
